Apathy of Existing
Feb. 3rd, 2009 08:05 amI sound liek a freakin' broken record these days:
Bored. So Bored. So very, very, very bored. My life is boring. I'm finding my brain cells slowly dying of boredom. Boredom leads to my constant exhaustion at life and yeah. Ok. I'm bored.
But why am I bored? And what am I doing about it?
I'm bored because after living a literally whirlwind life for the past 24 years, I've crashed down in Dullsville, Africa. I'm constantly poor - despite being very careful with my cash, and I'm battling to find something to inspire me.
So, in this apathetic existance I've ended up in, I turn to the internet. I drown myself in pop culture/ music/ fiction. But I'm waiting for something to really impress me. So far, not much has.
I'm not usually this pathetic or morose, but its getting a bit much.
In all fairness, I'm following doctors orders to take it easy for at least a year or else I would have a mental breakdown (seriously). But when I'm not rushing around to all the extra curriculars in my life, then what is there? A flat I'm battling to afford and a cat that loves eating my earrings.
Its like i'm being wrapped up in beauraucratic red tape and its slowly killing me.
Enough of that downer talk. Now for the good stuff.
Thanks to my awesome Brother in Law, I am now the proud owner of Torchwood season 2, Supernatural season 4, How I met your mother season 4 and Bones season 4. I hate living at the arse ens of the planet where we can only get the good stuff off the web or wait 3 years before the TV stations here decide to air the shows. Besides, I don't even have a TV aerial.
And in a few minutes, I've got an Ops meeting to attend where we'll be told that we're on thin ice with the client and need to pull trucks out of our arses.
Goodnight, bad morning.
