I really miss home internet like I had while living in London. Seriously. Internet 24/7, unrestricted and unleashed.
Unfortunately for me, South Africa has very limited internet. I survive with the few hours I can access at work and until they offer home broadband, I'm not paying through my nose for ADSL that doesn't always work because someone has decided to steal the copper cabling in the telephone lines.
But because I love being connected, I have a Twitter and the NOH8 Campaign has really caught my attention.
I have a lot of gay friends and as far as I know, gay unions aren't legal here in SA. But I do know that the campaign will get a lot of support from down here. If only we can get some way of voicing our support publically.
...
Just got chewed out again for messing up. Man, this has got to stop. Seriously. I'm trying. But I can't be perfect - have you seen my desk? Its insane the amount of stuff I have to do.
Right - enough bitching. Off to work.
