Sleep? Maybe when I'm dead...

Last night I went to see local rock band Prime Circle. What a show!! These guys really give me hope for the local scene.

 Today I overslept and you know what? I didn’t care. I was 20 minutes and I couldn’t be arsed. I need to find a job I actually care about.

 Also started volunteering at a school in the local township to tutor English twice a month. I’m excited and nervous. It’s part of the Lead SA initiative to improve South Africa through volunteer work. The organisation is called Seeds of Hope and if I can get one kid to appreciate English literature as much as I do, then I’ll be happy.

 Got an email from a friend of mine inviting me to an Academic function/ discussion. Apparently she wants to introduce me to a superior gene pool. I have a feeling everyone is trying to marry me off as soon as possible. To be honest, I’m pretty excited about the discussion itself. Hot academic guys are the added bonus.

Next week this time, I’ll be heading off to OppiKoppi! I can’t wait. 3 days of rock bands, sleeping late and old friends!

 So far I’ve hit 4500 words on my reel_merlin, 2000 words on my Deflower Draco fic and not much else.

 Very happy to see the paperlegends posting has started. I’m always awed by the quality that comes out of the challenges and very excited to read them all.
