Sep. 11th, 2013 08:16 amI got up at 4am this morning to take my mate to the airport - she has to fly back to South Africa for her first pregnancy check up! it's all very exciting.
In solidarity, i'm going to quit smoking and have already quit drinking (again, but not because it was a problem, i'm just tired of being fat.)
On another note - If I sign up for more than three fests next year, I need someone to smack me upside the head. I feel really bad for dropping the Dramione Remix, so i'm trying to karmically make up for it by powering through my Reel_Merlin and Dramione Duets challenges.
I'm back at work for two days since my R&R, which isn't really R&R when its a marathon stock up shopping trip and juggling family politics. It also looks like my group of friends back home is splitting up into factions. Fuck it. From now on, i'm gonna go R&R elsewhere.
My boss has decided she's moving back to the capital (Maputo) by the end of the year and now everyone is scrambling to find her replacement. Problem is, we need a Portugese/English speaker as my Portugese is laughable. And i don't mind getting another boss - as long as they're not assholes. I would do the job myself but I lile having free time.
So far i've been downloading the paperlegends entries so i can read and comment over the weekend - looks like some really good stuff for this final lap.
