Hunger Games

Okay, I know I'm supposed to be on hiatus, but I spent the weekend reading the 3 Hunger Games books and well, to be honest, from all the hype everyone is putting on these books, I expected a little more.
Okay, the plot was fantastic. The narrative - clumsy.
Then I remember the book is written from the POV of a frightened 16 year old which doesn't really help.
Dare I say it? I prefer the movies to the books...
